Yesterday was spent on a moderate 7.5km hike up Chester Lake, introducing some friends to snowshoeing in our own back yard. There were surprisingly few people on the trail, considering the fantastic weather. I couldn't ask for a finer Saturday, or a nicer view while sat eating lunch.

We saw nearly ten inches of snowfall in Calgary yesterday and, though the roads were a little interesting, I took the opportunity for a quiet morning walk guaranteed I'd be alone.
